The Journal of Kasia, the last fire fairy
I was right. I saw the ring. The actual ring that, well you know what it will do to you. I figured out they just came from Rivendell. The question that immediately popped into my head was "Is Rivendell safe?" (249) and where are the elves? They told me in reply: "Yes, at present, until all else is conquered" and that the elves were still there (249). The Fellowship never actually invited me to join them; I kind of just say I'm a part of it.
I heard them calling one of the men Aragorn, but one of the hobbits (I later found out his name was Frodo "the ring holder") calling him Strider. I had to get to the bottom of this. He said "They call me that, "he was talking about 'Strider', "in Bree, and that's how I was introduced to him" (261). I thought a person should only have one name so I found this very strange.
